| Marie Joseph Provincial Park Marie Joseph Rte 7, 1.5 km (1 mi) west of Marie Joseph. A picturesque roadside picnic park on the ocean with a view of offshore islands. Tables scattered under softwoods overlook the rocky shoreline. |

| Sherbrooke Provincial Park Route #7, North of Sherbrooke Perched on the bank of the St. Mary's River this picnic and rest area is a short distance from Historic Sherbrooke Village. The park is a prime area for photography as many birds including eagles await their prey a short distance up the river.

| Salsman Provincial Park Country Harbour, approximately 30 minutes from Sherbrooke This park offers a variety of campsites from staying on a peninsula which jets into Country Harbour to secluded wooded sites. A day-use rest area and boat ramp are also on site.

| Lochiel Lake Provincial Park Route 7, 4 miles north of Aspen A quiet picnic park with tables shaded by mixed-woods trees. Many tables line the shoreline of Two Mile Lake which is suitable for a refreshing swim, canoeing or kayaking.

Queensport Beach, Queensport This easily accessible beach--just off route #16 in Queensport--boasts a beautiful coastline and is a natural haven for seabirds. Adjacent to the beach is a small picnic area--just right for relaxing or bird watching! Atwood Park Centrally located in the seaside community of Boylston, Atwood Park is one of sevral new community spaces in Guysborough County. Take some time to meet up with friends while overlooking Milfrod Haven River.
